![]() It's certainly easier than reconfiguring the ENB parameters.I LIKE what it does for the sim and see NO fps hit at all using my normal locked at 30fps.Loyd ![]() I may change things again someday.Since some photoreal terrain seems to be quite dark, instead of fussing with the ENB to brighten it, I tried adjusting my SCREEN brightness from the default setting of 50% to 70% and I like it a lot better. Simply copy the script to the Modules folder of FSX and assign a ‘hot key’, button or switch to activate the script.Paolo,Mark is the one that got me to using the ENB module and I think he just emailed his copy vs me going to look for itBut it should be ver 0.075 (or 0.75) and here are the relevant sections that most everyone tweaks as I currently have them.BloomPowerDay=4BloomFadeTime=500BloomConstantDay=0BloomQuality=1BloomScreenLevelDay=40BloomCurveDay=0BloomPowerNight=20BloomConstantNight=2BloomCurveNight=0BloomScreenLevelNight=30BloomAdaptationScreenLevel=40BloomAdaptationMultiplier=50BloomAllowOversaturation=1BloomMaxLimit=75andScreenLevelDay=100DarkeningAmountDay=5GammaCurveDay=2ColorSaturationDay=2ScreenLevelNight=2DarkeningAmountNight=-10GammaCurveNight=2ColorSaturationNight=2UsePaletteTexture=0The night settings give me just enough light after dark to keep from running into a mountain. ![]() NpCmoveAircraft works with default FSX aircraft and many add-on aircraft that adhere to the standard FSUIPC offsets.Ī registered copy of FSUIPC is required to execute the NpCmoveAircraft Lua script. So, for example, NpCmoveAircraft can be used to simply turn an a/c around, to move it to the other end of a runway, to re-position it for another approach after landing, to jump ahead in cruise, to catch up to another a/c, etc. Prior to the move the aircraft can be on the ground or in the air. Or for any of the five inputs the user can simply enter a carriage return (Enter key) to signify NO CHANGE for that particular entry. ![]() I have heard you can get a similar or better effect through PTA or Tomato Shade. ENB's are quite unstable, and can cause issues with lightning leading to crashes. User inputs include the DISTANCE to move (NMs), the DIRECTION to move (degrees magnetic), the desired aircraft ALTITUDE (ft), the desired aircraft HEADING (degrees magnetic), and the desired aircraft IAS (Kts) along with the LANDING GEAR POSITION - up (u), down (d) or fixed (f). As saal2 said, PTA and Tomatoshade would be a better option for P3D. Each step includes prompts for the required input and format. NpCmoveAircraft is a Lua script in the Numberpad Control family of FSX scripts that can be used to move an aircraft to a new position.
